John and Mary Jo Von Nida have been in business in Granite City Illinois since 1986. John started out working for his father in 1973 in the janitorial business and in natural stone tiles. The business was originally known as Von Nida Janitorial Services. In 2001 it was decided to change the name to Ultimate Floor Care. Carpet Cleaning, Rug Cleaning and Tile and Grout cleaning and sealing is our primary focus. John has invested his time and money into acquiring all new “State of the Art” equipment For Steam Cleaning Carpeting also known as Hot Water Extraction.

John has spent many Classroom hours to become Certified thru the IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification) www.iicrc.com becoming one of the areas few “Master Textile Cleaners”. His expertise includes but is not limited to Carpet Cleaning and Spot Removal, Repair, Spot Dyeing, Upholstery Cleaning, Pet Stain and Odor removal, Emergency Water Extraction. John oversees the day to day operations and does most of the “In Home” cleaning himself along with an assistant. Mary Jo lends her knowledge to running the Business end of things.

Ultimate Floor Care of stone tiles maintains both Residential and Commercial Carpet Cleaning from as small as two rooms to 700,000 square foot facilities or larger. In addition to the floor care business, they also have 4 full time employees doing janitorial building maintenance.
